Ooredoo Group announced a strong set of financial results despite macroeconomic weakness in some of their markets. The Doha-based company said its net profit increased by 16%to QAR 1.47 billion in the first nine months to 30 September from QAR 1.26 billion in the same period in 2019 in a more favorable foreign exchange environment.

Huawei announced its business results for the first three quarters of 2020. During this period, Huawei generated CNY671.3 billion in revenue, an increase of 9.9% over the same period last year. The company's net profit margin in this period was 8.0%. Throughout the first three quarters of 2020, Huawei's business results basically met expectations.

The total mobile services revenue in the Philippines is set to increase at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6.2% from US$3.7bn in 2020 to US$5.0bn in 2025, mainly led by the considerable growth in mobile broadband service revenues, according to GlobalData, a leading data and analytics company.
