ZTE has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Masyarakat Telematika Indonesia (MASTEL), China Institute of Communications (CIC), and Telkom University to develop digital ecosystems in Indonesia and China. The signing ceremony, witnessed by officials from both countries, symbolizes their commitment to enhancing digital talent through training, research, and career development programs.
Developing Digital Talent and Collaboration
ZTE and Telkom University have also inaugurated the Digital Enterprise Ecosystem Laboratory (DEE LAB), aiming to support the development of digital talent and promote collaboration between application developers, companies, and mobile network operators.

Sarwoto Atmosutarno, Chairman of MASTEL, emphasized the importance of developing skills and knowledge in human resources to keep up with the rapid growth of ICT. MASTEL supports collaborations among institutions to enhance human resource capabilities and compete domestically and internationally.
Fostering Symbiotic Cooperation
Wu Ouyang, Deputy Secretary-General of China Institute of Communications, sees this event as the beginning of a symbiotic cooperation between industrial organizations, Chinese companies, and Indonesian universities. It opens up new opportunities for technical exchanges, talent training, and industrial cooperation in the field of information and communications.
Prof. Adiwijaya, Rector of Telkom University, highlighted the long-standing partnership between ZTE and Telkom University in technology development, particularly in digital connectivity. The contributions from DEE LAB, through donations and grants from ZTE, support Telkom University by fostering research and innovation in digital products and applications. Additionally, it aids in training and educating students on 5G technology, with the objective of nurturing digital talent for the benefit of Indonesia.
