ZTE Corporation has demonstrated in partnership with China Mobile, a 5G MU-MIMO (Multi-User, Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) multi-user performance test based on 5G commercial base stations and smartphones at Mobile World Congress Shanghai 2019. The demonstration showcases both companies’ leading positions in commercial performance.

Huawei today released a white paper on innovation and intellectual property (IP), and warned against the issue being politicized. Speaking at a press conference at the company’s headquarters, Song Liuping, Huawei’s chief legal officer, said that IP is the cornerstone of innovation and its politicization threaten progress across the world.

The GSMA Association has revealed in its latest report that Chinese mobile operators are leading the world in the deployment of “transformative” Internet of Things (IoT) solutions with 64% of the 1.5 billion global cellular connections including the “rapidly growing” Mobile IoT licensed LPWA technologies.

During MWC Shanghai 2019, Huawei held the 5G is ON Summit based on the theme of “5G-driven Digital Upgrades”. Ryan Ding, Executive Director of the Board and President of the Carrier BG of Huawei, delivered a keynote speech titled Industries + 5G, Enabling New Growth at the summit.
