Jio Platforms Limited has partnered with NVIDIA to build a state-of-the-art cloud-based AI infrastructure to accelerate AI deployment in India.

This groundbreaking AI cloud infrastructure is expected to give researchers, developers and other stakeholders access to a high-speed and secure network that can run a huge amount of workload efficiently. It would also help accelerate the country’s development of AI projects such as chatbots, drug discovery and climate research.

Mukesh Ambani, chairman and managing director, Reliance Industries Limited, commented on the partnership, saying: “As India advances from a country of data proliferation to creating technology infrastructure for widespread and accelerated growth, computing and technology super centers like the one we envisage with NVIDIA will provide the catalytic growth just like Jio did to our nation’s digital march.
